This masterpiece by Mies van der Rohe was designed as the German Pavilion for the 1929 exhibition which was demolished and later rebuilt in 1986 to celebrate Mies's birth centenary.

This glass and stone pavilion is the epitome of Avant Garde Bauhaus design and is home to the more famous "Barcelona chair"
