The Passion facade and its sculptures, designed in the 1980's by local scupltor- Joesph Maria Subriachs is a noticeable contrast to its more ornate counterpart on the other side of la sagarada familia church.

The play of light and shade created by the sharp angles of the scupltures brings about a very interesting dynamism to the facade.
